XHE Capital’s leadership team has over 50 years’ experience in asset management.
Charles is based in our Tokyo office. Prior to XHE Capital, Charles was Asia Chairman of a $30bn asset manager, responsible for operations in the Asia Pacific region, raising over $8bn in Japan. Charles sat on the firm’s Investment Committee and built the firm’s investor base and business in Asia Pacific. Charles has extensive experience spanning a 30 year career. Charles graduated from Tulane University in the US and completed graduate studies at Keio University in Japan. Charles speaks fluent Japanese.
Prior to XHE Capital, Luke worked for a Hong Kong based asset manager, with a focus on multi-asset strategies in Japan and internationally. Alongside managing XHE Capital, Luke also provides advisory services to large real estate developers in Asia. Previous to this, Luke was Global Head of Strategy for a multinational corporation and worked in other corporate strategy roles. Luke has an MBA in Finance from London Business School (MBA) and is a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe).
Prior to XHE Capital, Justin was a Portfolio Manager for a $500m US based fund with a focus on equity market neutral and long/short strategies. Justin also managed the firm’s credit portfolio. Alongside XHE Capital, Justin also provides advisory services to large real estate developers in Asia. Previous to this, Justin worked as a trader, beginning his career at a large multinational financial services company. Justin has a Masters in Finance (MSc) from London Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
